The Firm Welcomes its Three New Associates

Our three newest associates joined our firm at the end of the summer after completing judicial state court clerkships. All of them personified excellence in their academic careers and we are proud to introduce them.

Abigail “Abby” Johansen

Abigail “Abby” Johansen is a cum laude graduate of Old Dominion University, where she also played college lacrosse, and a cum laude graduate of the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Ricardo Rigual, the Honorable William E. Glover, and the Honorable Joseph J. Ellis of the 15th Judicial Circuit of Virginia, Spotsylvania County, July 2018 – July 2019. Her practice areas at the firm include personal injury and premises liability defense and business torts and contract disputes. She is a member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, serving on the Planning Committee for the 2020 Annual Meeting.

Angela London

Angela London is a cum laude Political Science major from Bellarmine University and graduate of the George Mason University School of Law. After law school graduation she worked as Law Clerk to the Honorable Steven S. Smith of the 31st Judicial Circuit of Virginia, August 2018 – August 2019. In 2018, Angela was the Keynote speaker at the Women in Leadership Conference. She is a member of the Prince William County Bar Association and Virginia Women Attorneys Association. Her practice areas at the firm include personal injury and premises liability and insurance coverage. She is also a member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, serving on the Planning Committee for the 2020 Annual Meeting.

Judson Peverall

Judson Peverall is a cum laude graduate of The College of William and Mary. After graduating from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law he served as the principal law clerk for three circuit court judges: Hon. Victoria A.B. Willis, Hon. Michael Levy, and Hon. Charles Sharp of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. He is the co-author of a law review publication: Hon. Victoria A.B. Willis & Judson R. Peverall, “The Vanishing Trial”: Arbitrating Wrongful Death, 53 U. Rich. L. Rev. 1339 (2019) and the Vice-Chair of the Appellate section of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. His practice areas at the firm include personal injury defense in state and federal courts.
